Hi,

I used to connect with my IP camera using Firefox web browser and it worked perfectly until 2 days ago.

Now when I connect with the camera, it doesn't show any image, just sound. Java plugin seems to start running, but no image is displayed.

The model of the camera is DCS-2121

You might try the "Add-on Compatibility Reporter". It will enable your old "add-on" to work again, at least it should. Try it and see if it works, if it doesn't you can disable it or remove it in your "add-0n Manager". It has worked for the Java plugins I have installed. Just go to this page and click "add to Firefox".

Hi,

thanks for the answers. I just checked the add-ons and according to "add-on Manager" the "Java Console 6.0.27" is incompatible with "Firefox 7.0.1"

I've realized that I had other Java console versions such as: 6.0.20, 2.0.21, 6.0.24 and 6.0.26. All of them appear as incompatible with "Firefox 7.0.1". I deactivated the previous versions and run Firefox just with the last version, but the problem remains.

I think I found something interesting. Check the Exception error displayed in the Java Console, at the bottom, when the camera starts running.

NOTE: For security, I replaced my cam IP Adress with -*MyCamURL*-

This is what appears in the console:
