Hi, Since the last Firefox update to version 6.0.2. the encoding of some webpages are not correctly encoded. For example were I should see an euro sign I see €. I have tried many things by changing the settings via alt>view>encoding, by changing to automatic, Unicode (UTF-8), to western all avilable sorts. I even have uninstalled and installed Firefox agian. But still the problem is not solved. I also have Safari, Safari encoding of the same webpages works correctly. So what is wrong and how can I change this? I have a laptop, with windows 7 64 bit.

You would need a Windows encoding like Windows 1252 to see code in the 0x80 - 0x9f section.

It is always better to use the HTML entity € (€)
