your website is working fine from my end & i am using the latest version of Firefox
what are the problems you are having with this site ???
I can not get into many of my important sites. it says java script is not open.
Try Options>Content> make sure Enable JavaScript is checked.
it is checked.
This is what it shows when i try to get into the resources site: Your Request Can't Be Processed

Note: You'll need to close any other windows you have open.
I can get into the resources page to log on. I had to allow a pop-up to get there - line across the top of the webpage>click Allow.
We really need full system details of your Firefox to give best help. If you have Fx 4 or 5 go to troubleshooting information. Extensions, plug-ins etc. It might be best if you asked a new question. Start it as "Revised question". More sites that aren't working would help. Do you have another browser?
revised question : the resources pkg i was talking about was not foxfire. it was a state farm website. how do i find out which version of foxfire i have?
I was also talking about the state farm website. When I said a revised question I meant a completely new question in a new thread with full system details. And some more sites.
Your Firefox version is shown at Help in the Menu Bar or orange Firefox button>About Firefox. I've said "orange" there which is for Windows but I realize now that I don't even which operating system you have. Maybe Mac or Linux.
I have foxfire version 5. i installed some updates about 3-4 weeks ago and since then, i am having trouble getting into important sites-statefarm resources, bank of america are some. with bank of america, i was able to click on a button at the top right-looked like an S? and get into some of the sites. my system now has a pop up that says "Jave update available" and ready to be installed. should i install it?
i have a windows system.
Yes, you should install the Java update.
You should also do this plug-in update check - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
And then you should do this troubleshooting(Safe Mode, Problematic Extensions, Hardware Acceleration etc) -
https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20extensions%20and%20themes
After this I really can't help you. As I said above, you should ask a completely new question in a new thread with all your system details.
After 20 hours I still do not know whether you have XP, Vista or 7.
