I have a home business and I need to download cbsurge to the desktop using firefox as the default browser. I get firefox as the default browser however it will not let me save it to the desktop..at my whits on on what else to do.. could it be one of my settings and if so how do i correct it.

It prevents Firefox from using your antivirus scanner to scan the file for viruses after it downloads.

You could also try doing the following.

Right click the link to the download and choose "Save Link As" and save it somewhere other than the desktop. You can move it to the desktop afterwards if you want to.

I do not know what else to try? I have been on the phone with AT&T Techs they can not figure it out. Support with CBSurge can not. After it says you have downloaded it when you try to open it from the desktop my documents or where ever you have it the screen pops up to install it. Does that mean it is not installed? I do not know much about a computer and it"s workings but I do know when it is being dowloaded you can see it down loading. With mine it is just a little pop up at the bottom of the screen that says download complete! I follow exactly what it says in the video,but it does it all together different than what I am doing from the downloading all the way through. Any way thank you again for all your help and your time.
