Clicked on a bookmark, and it opened the page in a sorta window under the active page. Cannot get rid of it.

Clicked on the bookmark button on the right side of the Navigation bar, went to Recently Bookmarked, and clicked on the bookmark. The webpage opened UNDERNEATH the page I was on. It occupies about 10% of the screen, but I can slide the margin of the top page over to expose about 50% of the page beneath. I cannot get rid of the page below.
