I deleted my previous Firefox icon from my desktop without keeping my Favorites/Bookmarks.

Very sorry. I saw 2 icons on my desktop and deleted one without checking to see if my Bookmarks were in both of them. They weren't. Do you know of any way to retrieve what I deleted, or should I just put them back as I need them? Also, I set up my original Mozilla account 5 years ago, and don't remember how to add a bookmark panel on the left of the screen.
