Why can't I zoom in and out on Firefox android but on my apple I phone I'm able to zoom on videos on YouTube for my work

Is Firefox different for android than apple

The zoom doesn't work on Firefox on my Amazon fire tablet hd but works on my I phone any ideas what I can do to fix this. I really need it to work on my new tablet fire HD ty.
