Lockwise: Passwords do not appear on new PC after Sync
I have reinstalled my home computer and reinstalled Firefox, logged in and synced. My passwords from my work browser's Lockwise have not appeared or synced. Please advise. Thank you.
I know patience is thin. Feel free to cut to the chase. I did try to self serve and only found export then import options. Are my expectations for sync incorrect?
Happy New Year.

Turns out I needed to re login on the primary station. The password had been reset when logging into the second computer. Then syncing at both ends resolved the issue. Thank you for your time.

Hi
I understand that Firefox Sync did not connect to your mobile device on this occasion, but hopefully I should be able to help.
Assuming you have connected the same Sync account on both copies of Firefox, in the work copy of Firefox, in the Sync settings, manually trigger a sync.
This will “force” a synchronisation of the data that is on that copy of Firefox which should then appear on your home copy of Firefox.
See the note at the bottom of this article about how to enable import CSV in Lockwise via the about:config page.
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-login-data-file
- about:config => signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled = true
Regarding the first suggestion I believe there is an error. The original service request is referring to two PC with Firefox installed and the user logged in. One at home, one at work. There is no mobile component. How do I sync? The following does not work. My passwords are not available on the other computer; No passwords.
In regards to the second solution I am not familiar enough to proceed with that suggestion I can just state sync is not working as expected.
This did not work: How do I set up Sync on my computer?
Please Advise. Regards, Ross B

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastebin if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.
You can install the About Sync extension in Firefox 72 and newer on desktop to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.
Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).
Will using this add-on tool wipe out my passwords? Am I at risk in anyway?
