FORCING SUCH CRAP WILL ONLY ASSURE PEOPLE WILL GO 'ELSEWHERE' WHICH OF COARSE SUCKS AS NORMALLY THEY WOULD NOT WISH TO. TAKE A CHILL PILL FF! (Bad enough Thunderbird is a crap-fest as when lost you can not get it back and 'no one' really seems to have a clue. Just phony (in house) remedies that never work- probably why Mozilla is history!)

Are they from Mozilla or a webpage? What is displayed?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.
