Send tab to device doesn't respect "private" status

I open a "New private window" in Firefox.

I right-click on it and choose "Send Tab to Device". I choose a device and user where I'm already running Firefox and logged in as the same user. FWIW, both devices are Windows PCs with Win 10 fully patched and Firefox fully patched.

I get a notification on the destination device and open the tab.

All fine, except that there seems to be no guarantee that the tab which appears on the destination machine will be in a private window. Sometimes it appears in a private window and sometime it appears in a standard window.

I really want to be sure that when I bounce a private tab from one device to another, it stays private.

Is there any way to get certainty?
