hi there

Is there any way to get gesture support in the Reader view of a page, such that swipe left/right does a pageup or pagedown of the text? (or have touch-areas that trigger a page-scroll, much like the page-flip on a Kindle)

Failing that, could we get an option to show floating buttons that do page up/down?

That would be a really nice feature if it was available.

Thanks for all the hard work on Firefox, it's an excellent browser!

Hi Tim

Thank you for your question and your support for what we are doing with Firefox. It really does mean a lot to the staff and the many thousands of volunteer contributors all over the world who work on it.

At the moment, support for gesture controls are not yet in place, but I can assure you that it is something that our developers are looking into for inclusion in a future update.

Thank you again for your support. Keep rocking the open web!

No problem at all, thanks for getting back to me Seburo!

I'm really not too worried about gesture support specifically, a floating button would be fine too. I dug around a bit more and found this feature request is logged, so I guess I'm not alone at least:

Thanks again for the hard work here!
