OpenPGP doesn't appear to be an e2ee option in Thunderbird 78.0
The blog titled "Thunderbird, Enigmail and OpenPGP" (https://blog.thunderbird.net/2019/10/thunderbird-enigmail-and-openpgp/) states: "Users who haven’t used Enigmail previously will need to opt in to use OpenPGP messaging, as encryption will not be enabled automatically. However, Thunderbird 78 will help users discover the new functionality." I have just installed Thunderbird 78.0 and have gone to Account Settings / End-to-End Encryption. The page only shows S/MIME as an encryption option -- I can't find OpenPGP anywhere.
Am I looking in the right place?
Thanks in advance.

it is disabled in Thunderbird 78. it is not expected to be available until 78.2 if I understand it correctly.
The release notes https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/78.0/releasenotes/ says
At this time, users of the Enigmail Add-on should not update to Thunderbird 78.Read this answer in context 👍 0
OpenPGP functionality for Thunderbird 78 is still work in progress, and is disabled by default in the initial 78.0 release. See the wiki for how to enable and help with testing.
