"Something went Wrong" with a Firefox.Send log-in; how to troubleshoot?

Last week I set up a Firefox.Send account and successfully sent test files to both myself and a friend over a two day period. Since then I have been unable to sign back in using the correct address and password. One test file should still have a few downloads remaining, not that it should matter.

I am using Windows 7 Home premium, SP1 and Firefox 60.6.1 on a sorta slow DSL line (~0.6Mbps).

The procedure is as follows: On the page showing "Create a Firefox Account or sign in", I enter my EMail address and click the blue "Sign in/up" box below that, getting a new page [Picture 1 below] telling me to check my EMail for a Confirmation Link. Clicking on that link in my Mail (in another tab) gives me a new tab showing a message that the sign-in has been confirmed, which sometimes reverts to the error message shown in picture 2, or sometimes remains but the original sign-in tab changes from the Pic. 1 view to the error message. Either way, I don't get signed in. I have disabled a VPN, cleared cookies, closed all other windows and tried a few other things but still can't get the system to finish signing me in. FWIW, that password is different than the one for M.support here. I would appreciate any suggestions about what to do or check to get this to work. Thanks

Can you login to the Firefox Account via this website?

Yes, either link works and gives me the same result when I sign in. It takes me to my Account page showing lines for Display Picture, Display name, etc.. If I click Devices and Apps, it shows me some lines for (open?) sessions (windows?) of Firefox and one for Firefox Send showing a red box on the right containing the word "Revoke". If I try to sign in, I still get the same results.

I tried to login to the Firefox send website (send.firefox.com) with my Firefox account credentials and that worked. Try to clear the cookies for both websites (accounts.firefox.com and send.firefox.com) and make sure you do not block cookies and if necessary check content blocking extensions.

After multiple attempts of closing all my computer security, clearing cookies and shutting various related and open tabs but still getting the error message, Firefox-send finally opened. The two test files have both expired, but now I can try opening various combinations to see what seems to be interfering...although that testing will have to wait a while, perhaps a few days, until I'm not so busy with a few other (offline) chores. Thanks for the help and nudging to keep me trying to solve the problem. BTW, what would happen if I clicked the red "Revoke" button for Firefox Send, under "Devices and Apps"? Would it remove that F-S account, and if so, would I be able to 're-register' later using the same address and password? No reason to try, but it's an interesting question....Also, how many accounts could one have?

If this Revoke button is on the Firefox Account Settings page then this probably means that you revoke the permission to use this Firefox Account to access (logon) Firefox Send. You can login to Firefox Send with the same email or another Firefox Account email to restore the permission to use a specific Firefox Account. You won't be able to use Firefox Send with extended features when you aren't logged in.
