Hi,
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Perhaps the autofill hidden preference isn't enabled. With locales other that US the rollout of autofill was staged over a few versions; but I thought the rollout was completed by now.
Type about:config - accept the warning. In the Search field at the top type extensions.formautofill. and view those prefs.
Both of these need to be enabled . extensions.formautofill.addresses.enabled and extensions.formautofill.creditCards.enabled
Won't appear in Options > Security unless the pref is enabled.
If they aren't enabled double-click the one/s that aren't enabled to 'toggle' the pref Value to enabled, then restart Firefox. Then view those prefs in Security.

nope - in chrome i filled out one form with all my buying data and from then on out all i had to do was pout first letter of my name in the name field and the entire form auto filled on almost any new page. no matter what i do firefox seems to refuse to do this.

none seem to work the same as chrome :(
Forget about what Pkshadow posted, you shouldn't need and extension now-a-days to have the autofill functions.
Look at the 1st screenshot I just posted and verify that is where you are looking to access where you can add / view autofill data under the heading of Browser Privacy > Forms & Passwords.
The 2nd & 3rd screenshots show what the Saved Addresses & Saved Credit Card 'windows' look like for viewing / adding your personal data.
BTW, I have never used Chrome so I don't know that their rendition of the autofill feature is, but I am confident that the interface in Chrome is different than what is in Firefox. But it should work the same on websites; both browsers do follow the W3C standards.

ic the the-edmeister thinks he knows everything then does not know Chrome, when it can be found in google images to compare.
