A few weeks ago, I will click on random things in less traveled websites, i.e. not Amazon or most large seller websites, it will instantly add a new popup and send me to a 'weevah2....' website, or 'oneclicktop.com...', or 'liveadexchanger.com...'. Obviously phishing or scam sites, but even WITH popup blocker on, it still opens a new tab to these sites. Sometimes, it does not even open a new tab, but redirects the page when I click on a link within the site. I have both Norton and Windows Defender and they don't seem to fix the problem. I have done repeated scans with both. Firefox is up to date. I am also running Ghostry and a cookie killer. Anyone know what to do??

hi, next to the security software already in place, please run a scan with various other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & eset online one-time scanner - they are moe focused on browser hijackers and might find adware that went under the radar of norton.
