firefox won't initialize Oxc0000022
won't start error message as shown in question. Worked fine last night. Have restarted with no effect

firefox recently updated to 49 and avg seems to delete or block parts of our necessary program files after the update :-/

none as far as I know, awg is loaded but expoired I think
please try uninstalling avg in this case, because unfortunately we have heard the same symptoms from other avg users as well & afterwards download a fresh copy of firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

a new download of mozilla did not help now I get unable to lacate component mozglue.dll not found
and this happened with avg fully uninstalled? you can also try the removal tool from http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities when uninstalling through the system control panel doesn't fully work...

The uninstall did not work I'll try your link. Why would mozilla work fine until this morning?

Thank you . using the removal tool in your link and then reinstalling Mozilla via Chrome solved my problem. Back to Mozilla as it seems to be working fine
