I was on FB and saw a political message on the right side of screen. I NEVER open these, but today stupidly did. It was a story that I was curious about. Who two Pres Bushs were endorsing. Should have known that was bad to open.... mea culpa. Clicked again on a link that said click here. All of a sudden there was loud beeping + voice saying" Mozilla had shut down due to malware. gave me # to call 800-795-5306. I closed all windows. Went to McAfive LiveSafe. It showed no breach.

Most likely, your computer did not get infected by that site. If you want to double-check for any new software that may have snuck in, you can supplement your McAfee software with some of the on-demand scanning/cleaning programs listed in our support article: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
