Recently, I have had Firefox continually crash. I typically only have a few tabs open. I use Yahoo for my mail, which is typically open and facebook. The crash is not immediate, but after a few seconds.

I have tried to follow all the troubleshooting steps. I have started in safe mode. I have reinstalled. I have cleared all cache/cookies/history. I have set everything back to default.

Worse yet, I cannot even try to launch the Troubleshooting Information link or submit a question to mozilla support from Firefox as they both crash.

Therefore, I am using Chrome to submit this ticket.

Let me know if there is anything else you may need. I really, really want to get back to using Firefox.

Thanks.

Daniel

thanks, this looks like a crash related to hardware acceleration - please try updating your graphics driver, or in case there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

I am trying to see if it is Yahoo or facebook but just running each in a single tab. Yahoo has caused a crash so far.

So did facebook. Worse yet, I was just sitting in it. Just reading. No games, no links.

It seems to be working. I can launch the Troubleshooting Information link and if this gets posted, I can submit a question/reply.
