Why won't my PC allow me to create a new profile?

Firefox won't start at all. It is giving me a crash report but does not specify what the problem is. I have gone through the troubleshooting list and am trying to create a new profile. I get the box that pops-up listing the profiles with the options to "create profile", "rename profile, "delete profile". When I create on "Create Profile", nothing happens. I see a box in the background flash up for a second but disappears. I tried to rename the profile and delete it....the same thing happens.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled which did not help. So I do think that data is corrupt in my profile.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste that into the "Post a Reply" box. (Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the ID's. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)

I'd love to provide you with that info, but I cannot get to the address bar in FireFox as it won't *open*.

This is the crash report that I receive. When I hit "restart", I get the same message.
