Cookies not the problem with Firefox locked out of Yahoo Groups.
I got the same error message as others which says that Firefox detects server redirecting in way that would never complete. I have been a Groups member for 11 years and never had this problem with Firefox. I have never blocked cookies.Dumping or unblocking cookies did not work for me or for many others. This issue is now ranked #19 in Yahoo's feedback forum so a lot of people are suddenly experiencing it.
This is either something Yahoo just did or something Firefox/Mozilla just did. Which is it and what was done if it was on Firefox's end. I have FF 30.0. If it is on YOUR end please say so, say what you changed, and send out a fix. If it is no on your end, please contact Yahoo and tell them they did something that messed up your browser's access. You need to get proactive. It should not be Firefox users who have to make them fix it. YOU need to get into the act.
I realize there are people out there who either had blocked cookies or had corrupt ones and they say the dump cookies/unblock cookies fix works for them. But it doesn't work for everyone and there are posts on Yahoo from people who tried the cookie fix and reported it did not change anything.
When You, Mozilla, know of a problem, whether it is something you caused or not, it is unfair of you to not share information with users.
I am here to let you know specifically that the cookie fix only works for some people, and, furthermore, there was never a cookie issue with Yahoo groups before which makes me suspect that either you or they did something that caused the problem.
Kindly respond with what YOU think the real problem is. Thank you.

Maybe try this solution, there may have been an update. question/1008031 there you can remove individual cookies.
You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
I think this problem may be caused by Yahoo's changes making it incompatible with the klatest version of FireFox.
This is suddenly affecting many many people who use Firefox and are members of Yahoo Groups. All these people say they themselves changed nothing and have not been locked out before when using Firefox. But suddenly, within the last week, they are.
What did Mozilla do or what did Yahoo do to cause this problem? I can say that I was not blocking cookies and after trying a number of things to fix it, I went to Yahoo's home page and navigated to my group from here.
This problem is not anything a user did. Either Firefox is at fault or Yahoo is. I want to know which company is at fault and when they are going to fix it.
Sorry that you are having a problem at Yahoo using Firefox 30. I don't use Yahoo so I can't even see the problem there, but as far as what is new or changed in Firefox 30, see these:
