My Firefox account is synchronized across my personal devices and my work laptop. This has been working fine for a while, until today I got an error on my work laptop that "Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history already saved to an existing Firefox profile". I suppose this is because it's using version 102.12.0esr, whereas my PC uses version 114.0. My workplace won't let me just install the normal version of Firefox. So in my search for a solution, my first hope is that someone can provide some magic solution, maybe? If there is no such thing, I'd like to know if there's an esr version right around the corner that will fix this? In the event that I'm all outta luck, what I'd like to be able to do is try to disconnect my profile on the laptop from synchronization, and then force it to open, hopefully it will work and then I won't have synchronization anymore but at least I'll have my profile as it currently is. Can someone tell me how to do this, if it's possible? What I absolutely want to avoid at all costs is to manually rebuild my profile. Restoring all my settings, including those hidden in about:config, and all my extensions' settings by hand is going to be a nightmare. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
