Since Windows updat BING is now my Browser. Have reconfiged FireFox as default. But bing shows up as the Browser!?! What can I do?

Since the latest Windows update, Fire Fox has been replaced as the default Browser!?! BING now "crowds out" Fire Fox! I have again enabled Fire Fox as the default Browser, but BING shows up instead. What can I do?

Hello,

During a software update, your settings can sometimes change or revert back to their original state. For example, if your computer has multiple browsers installed, you may end up with a different default browser than Firefox.

If you’re using a PC that runs the Microsoft Windows operating system, here’s how to set Firefox as your default:

1. Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Options. 2. In the General panel, click Make Default 3. The Windows Settings app will open with the Choose default apps screen. 4. Scroll down and click the entry under Web browser. 5. Click on Firefox in the dialog that opens with a list of available browsers.

Firefox will now be listed as your default browser. Close the Settings window by clicking the X in the upper right to save your changes.

Already shows firefox as as default browser in options - did not help. I open mozilla and get msn and bing = Incredible Bummer!!
