Is there any other way to securely lock my Firefox OS phone? I can easily bypass the screen/passcode lock.

I thought first this Firefox OS phone is secure by putting a screen/passcode lock under the security options of the phone.

But by restarting the phone on "power-volume_up-home" combination, it will take you to the system tests and factory reset menu. Restart the phone again without tinkering on the menu (resetting or testing), and voila! The screen/passcode lock was already disabled on my Firefox phone! The data is intact, and all of my private/personal information and emails were all visible to the prying eyes.

Phone information: Cherry Mobile ACE. Firefox OS 1.3T.

Please advice on how to fully secure this phone.

It is possible to set a passcode from the main menu. At the moment there are no apps that I can find that offer an alternative.

Yes, we can set the passcode from the main menu. But unfortunately, I just found out that by going to the "factory reset" menu of the phone during bootup without even resetting, the passcode will be gone after restarting, and all of my data is still intact. The messages and all of my notes are still there.

I feel less secure using this phone since I discovered that.
