Why is my Firefox Aurora seems to be located in Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, but that directory doesn't exist on my computer?
I'm using FusionDisplay to get a taskbar for my second monitor, and the taskbar has worked well until now. Now when I open pinned Aurora, it opens a new application and doesn't merge with the pinned down application icon. It seems to locate the Firefox.exe to Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, which doesn't exist. Also windows task manager right click menu for firefox.exe won't open anything when I click Open File Location.

Please also try unpinning the old icon, browse to Program Files (x86)\Aurora and right-click and pin firefox (firefox.exe) again.
Already tried that, of course. It doesn't work, as pinning firefox again to the taskbar creates a shortcut to Aurora/updated/firefox.exe which DOES NOT EXIST, so when I try launching it, it just says that launching application failed.
Also, when I right click from Windows Task Manager and choose properties, I get "Windows cannot find 'E:\Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." error.
I don't know how it happens, unless perhaps it is another application like virtualization, or malware. You can also try reconfiguring FusionDisplay.
No, that's the actual firefox.exe which runs when I browse internet. Also, the problems isn't the DisplayFusion, as the windows task manager gets the same directory problem. I just wonder how can there be an application running on my computer from directory that doens't exist. Maybe aurora somehow refers itself to that directory but it's just a bug?
You can try adding the Image path name column to Task Manager to see what it reports. You can also check the VirtualStore in %localappdata% (enter %localappdata% in Windows Run (Windows key + R)) for entries related to Aurora. If you still have the Aurora installer you can fight-click > Properties > Digital Signatures and verify that it is signed by Mozilla Corporation. You may also want to uninstall and reinstall Aurora with DisplayFusion and also other security software active. Please make sure not to select personal settings when uninstalling.

Image path name is totally empty for the firefox.exe. The problem is around even if I close displayfusion, so it has nothing to do with the bug. My installer was downloaded directly from mozilla website, and the problem was caused by latest update anyway. Trying to reinstall aurora now.
Try to use the Process Explorer utility to check the startup path of that process.
Hi. I'm having the same problem with Final versions of Mozilla applications (FF and TB) on Win7 x64 as well. I don't have Display Fusion or the likes. This started around FF15, and happens about every other update since. This is Very frustrating. Restarting the computer fixes it though. I'd never believe I'd have to restart the computer after pretty much about every update, major or minor. Now this happened to me for both FF19->19.02, and TB 17.0.3->17.0.4 at the same time. No other software running meanwhile. This happens for about the 3 or 4th time. It's frustrating to have to restart every now and then for a browser update. I'll stick to a version for both (19.0.2 and 17.0.4) forever, thanks Mozilla! Couple that with the inability of most versions of TB to sustain a longer uptime than 10-15 days with no addons and just 4 pop accounts with 50-100 emails and just one with 1000.
