I cannot play videos from a specific web site
I cannot play videos from the web site below. No trouble with other sites. I've tried everything. The only thing that has changed is when I disable Shockwave add-on. In this case, the play symbol (which doesn't show at all before disabling Shockwave) shows but the video doesn't load.

Your system details list doesn't show the Flash plugin for Firefox, so if you've disabled that plugin then you will have to re-enable it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these if the Flash plugin is working properly:
- disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
- disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
- downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3
I've tried all of the above and more. i can't get videos from the Golf Channel to play.
I've installed the Flash Plugin about 6 times but it doesn't show up on my system details????
Did you try to download the Flash player installer and run the file as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator)?
Do you see the Flash plugin for Firefox (NPSWF32_11_3_XXX_XXX.dll) in this folder? C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\
See also: Troubleshoot Flash Player installation for Windows:
Yes and yes. The following plug in was in the folder. NPSWF32_11_4_402_278.dll
If Firefox doesn't find the Flash plugin then the flash installer didn't create or wasn't allowed to create the registry keys that makes Firefox find the plugin.
You can try to uninstall and reinstall the flash player.
See Install Flash Player:
Uninstalled and installed. Still have the problem. Can't play video.
Check the Control Panel in Windows and tell us which versions of Flash you have installed.
Internet Explorer uses the ActiveX version, whereas other browsers, like Firefox, use the Plugin version. Is the Plugin version showing in the Control Panel as being installed?
Yes it is. Version 11,4,402,278.
And you're sure that is the Plugin version?
Yes. Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin.
Active X is not installed.
This is one of the videos that won't play. Anything about it that's screwing things up??

Does the Adobe test page confirm that Flash is installed?
Yes. Both pages confirm Flash is installed.
Mozilla plays the videos on this site: http://swingfix.golfchannel.com/features/instructor_videos?filter_by=martin-hall&page=7 but not this one: http://www.golfchannel.com/media/golf-fix-tip-become-a-better-ball-striker-091712/ both from golf channel.
What's going on?
The first link (swingfix.golfchannel.com) wants to play an mp4 file via a video tag and that doesn't work for me in Firefox.
Thee is code for a fallback Flash player, but I'm not seeing such a player (works in Firefox 3.6.28)

The second link works fine for me with a Flash player, so I'm seeing the opposite that you described.

I don't know what to do next. I've dropped back to version 10.3 but it still doesn't work. What version should I be in?
I finally fixed my problem. I'm using IE9.
