What has happened to my drag and drop feature that opens another page from a link?

If you drag a link or selected text on the new tab button or empty space on the tab bar then a new tab should open with that link.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
