Around 3 years ago, I made a request to bring back Firefoxs amazing image toggling feature to allow users to toggle on and off images while browsing the web. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1303546#answer-1348088 Some may think the only purpose of this feature is to save data and that is a good reason. But it has other uses as well. The internet can be triggering, it can be overstimulating. A power user can take control of that, and honestly, after my thread from 3 years ago was closed, the last word was, "Due to your request, The Team has decided to add this permissions (images, web fonts, javascript) somewhere around the end of this year." It was even put on github as an issue to work on. https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/11460 But 3 years later, here we are. Still no Images selection in the Permissions menu. I'm back asking for it again. I'm tired of using Opera mobile as the only mobile browser that has this feature. I want to come back to Firefox. And if someone won't do it, please point me in the direction for how I myself can alter this open source software so that I can add this old feature back.
