Is it normal to see that?@ about:logo ....or see screen shot

i can't don't remember seeing them logo page before but maybe it's new.. just thought I'd bring it up. Same on my other devices too, beta or stable , didn't matter.

Application Basics

Name: Firefox Version: 105.0.2 Build ID: 20221003135607 Distribution ID: User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 11; Mobile; rv:105.0) Gecko/105.0 Firefox/105.0 OS: Linux 30 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Sep 18 09:49:34 UTC 2020

I've seen other references in the about pages which seem to imply i'm using a nightly build in addition to the logo..

Firefox release (currently at 105.2.0) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox

Firefox Beta (currently at 106.0b5) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox_beta

Firefox Nightly (currently at 107.0a1) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.fenix

The Beta channel can get multiple builds of a version on the channel, currently on fifth build of 106.0. The Nightly development channel is more for Testers and Developers in mind as it can get updates each day.

The apk builds of Firefox Releases and Beta channel builds are listed at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/releases

While that's interesting it doesn't really answer my question. Presumably because i'm a bad writer and rambling idiot so bare with me please.

Throughout my version of FF which identifies as mobile linux (On android)...

Confused yet? :)

Exibit B: Configure options 'cc-toolchain=/builds/worker/fetches/android-ndk/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi-4.9/prebuilt/linux-x86_64 -''D__ANDROID_API__=16 -Qunused-arguments -Wall -Wbitfield-enum-conversion -Wdeprecated-this-capture....... .... MOZ_ANDROID_FAT_AAR_ARCHITECTURES=armeabi-v7a,arm64-v8a,x86,x86_64 --with-branding=mobile/android/branding/nightly

I won't even ask about the API 16 thing today.....

@James,@Paul

Thank you both for your reponses.

James- I my concern was with the details of the png showing Nightly. I have a laptop which doesn't share the same image as about:logo ( flame puppy engulfing a pokeball ). But that's using a red hat build. The Android container within my Chromebook shows Nightly, 3 different mobile devices show nightly.

Personally i'm fond of the blue scheme. I wonder, if i turned on color inversion , might it display properly? that'd be funny

The builds are pieces that are 'copy pasta'. Certain devices have cherry picked parts and others are more frankenstein -- I think this small detail got carried over at a point and overlooked. Could be alarming or distracting for those who find it.

Sorry for the late response!
