FIREFOX BOOKMARKS: Where do they reside after syncing?
Greetings Firefox Experts, I am very new to the conventions of the Android OS (though a veteran/advanced user of Windows). Today, I sought to transfer (sync?) my very detailed list of bookmarks from a desktop to an Android tablet. All went perfectly well; the entire list of bookmarks & folders showed up in Firefox (Android) as I expected. The one thing I didn't realize is once edlited & saved, the list only becomes available again after re-logging into my Firefox account. Does this mean that syncing a list of bookmarks & folders are not saved on the tablet itself but only reside on Firefox's servers to be downloaded when needed? If this is how syncing works, is there a patch (or fix) to be able to save the list permanently, say on my tablet's SD card, without requiring repeated account access? Sorry, I'm just from a generation that dreads Big Brother always wanting to control & monitor access to lifes most intimate information. Any help towards a solution will be gratefully received.
