About a day ago, Firefox Sync stopped working. When I tap the sync icon it blinks briefly, but does not complete. I tried signing out and back in to my Sync account and even reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Please help.

Sync logins in Firefox for iOS

more options

I have the same problem. For months now, Firefox has been behaving a little wonky, but as soon as Apple introduced iPadOS and Firefox for iOS updated to version twenty, it has been next to useless. First, Facebook breaks and PMs and Stories wouldn’t work right, then Google started treating FF as if it were the old desktop version of Firefox 20, not the newest version for iOS.

So, I removed FF from my iPad, then re-installed it and Sync stopped working. Since then, I have not, no matter what I do, been able to access my bookmarks, logins and passwords on FF for iOS. Since I have over 800 bookmarks and dozens upon dozens of logins & passwords, I’m not going to try to manually enter them on my iPad. FF has become useless. I’ve had to start using Chrome because at least it works.

I’d really love to know what’s gone wrong. Certainly, I cannot be the only user experiencing this.
