get error code after closing firefox

I just wanted to report a problem with the latest update from Firefox. My browser updated to version 54 dot something. After the update every time I close the application I get an error code saying the application stopped working.

I downgraded to Firefox 53.0.3 and everything works fine again. I'm not really sure what the problem is with the newest version. I just thought I'd report the problem.

It can do with other programs. Myself I get a Windows Memory Error when close Firefox which is caused by part of Malwarebytes. My error still not fixed.

You may have to try to identify if another program is causing this error as I had to by a process of elimination.

Since you downgraded try using the update and see if problem persists then try the above if it does. Alternatively try installing with a full installer instead of the stub. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
