Why are my 2 profiles 12 GB combined ? Can I delete them safely ?

Everything is in my question.... Why did it get SOOO BIGGGGG.... 12 GB...One of the profiles is the one that gets created automatically when there is no profile...The other one is some other random profile... I never delete browsing history is it the reason ? I do delete cookies after each session though What do I risk from deleting those 12 GB ? How can I prevent it to be that large ?

10 GB and the defaulf is 2 GB The 10 GB file is named 6n9gum6p.default .... The 2 GB file is named ljruyzh0.default (this folder gets created when there is no profile folder in /.../firefox/profile
Probably due to cached browsing history in the "larger" Profile. Clear the cache in that Profile as see how small it becomes.
Note that Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder. Location used for the main profile in "AppData\Roaming".
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Location used for the disk cache and other temporary files in "AppData\Local".
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
You can check the bookmark backups (bookmarkbackups folder) in "AppData\Roaming" to see if you still need them all.
A profile folder I've been using for many years is only 450MB (referring to the main folder under Roaming). I don't know what would cause your folder to become 12GB -- that seems huge. Possibly it stores data that belongs to an add-on which works with media files (images, screenshots, videos)??
After reading you replies it seems 12 GB is a very unusual situation. I've just delete the folders as I don't have time looking inside... Hopefully, it's not a Malware hiding in it... Below are pictures of my add-on (plugins and extensions)...I you can see, nothing unusual. Anyways, I delete the folders. Thanks for you helps.
If you delete your active profile folder from the Roaming path you'll lose those extensions... and your bookmarks. ?!
