German-Version: i configer 2 tabs, Google and GoogleMail but get 3 Tabs with an additional "Einstellungen" Tab
I configure with 2 tabs "Settings" / "Use Current Pages" When I start Firefox, 3 tabs are available. The "Settings" tab is always started as well. What can I do to permanently dismiss the "Settings" tab?

Solution choisie
Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.startup.homepage.
If you want, right click and select Modify. You can change the setting to;
about:home (Firefox default home page), about:newtab (shows the sites most visited), about:blank (a blank page),
or you can enter any web page or about: page you want.
Note: Carefully remove what you don't want from here.
