What do I need to Whitelist to Log Into to Google and Read Books on Google Play?
Unfortunately, Google doesn't provide adequate support. Some pages suggest asking here, some pages suggest solutions which don't work, and some pages just hang.
I'm not going to delete all cookies - bad enough just deleting all my Goigle cookies when I just wanted to clear out Google-related cache and a few broken cookies.
I'm not going to enable all cookies including third-party cookies.
I just want to enable the necessary cookies, so I just need a good list of what to whitelist.

What happens when you try to log into the site -- do you get a specific error message, etc.?
Firefox's built-in setting regarding third party cookies is all or nothing, it doesn't have an option to allow some third party cookies and not others. If this is the problem, you could search for an add-on that allows you to manage third party cookies on a site-by-site basis.
The current error message reads:
"Oops! Your browser seems to have cookies disabled. Make sure cookies are enabled or try opening a new browser window. [?]"
The ? leads to an unhelpful help page.
I have google.com whitelisted.

You can check the "Accept third-party cookie" settings and possibly select "From visited".
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
You can set network.cookie.thirdparty.sessionOnly to true on the about:config page to make third-party cookies behave as session cookies that expire when Firefox is closed.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
If you use extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking possibly important content.

Of course, I use a number of accessibility tools to block as much flashing/sheering/animation/sensory bombardment/pain as possible, which entails blocking content.
"When you start in Firefox's Safe Mode, all extensions are temporarily disabled, hardware acceleration is turned off and the default theme is used. This will help determine whether one of these is causing your problem."
I can't use the web without my accessibility fixes. I have enough trouble even with them.

Well, that would be the case if you have unchecked the box for "Accept cookies from sites".
Maybe there is a different site involved that you haven't whitelisted yet.
Well, yes, and I would like to know which. It'd help if Firefox had some way to keep track of refused cookies, failed actions, etc. to know which pages don't open, hang, etc.
