printer quit working on Thunderbird e-mails

I have a fairly old printer, but it's been working with my new computer and Windows 7 fine for the past six months. Until a couple days ago, and it quit working when I want to print e-mails, all I get are blank pages. It prints fine with other programs, but won't on Thunderbird.
