I would suggest they are assigned to the email. What I can state is I see no tags on my emails in V102.2.1 so I would be guessing it has something to do with an addon malfunction.

Have you tried restarting in troubleshooting mode from the help menu and continuing in that mode when prompted? Still see the issue in troubleshooting mode?
