I have a new PC with Windows 11. Setting default programs in 11 is very complicated. My email client is Microsoft Outlook (https://outlook.live.com/owa/), which is accessed through the Firefox browser. When I get an email with an email link it defaults to "mailto", which defaults to the Windows Mail app, which I do not use. How can I make "mailto" default to Microsoft Outlook (https://outlook.live.com/owa/) running through Firefox?

Thanks, Jerry

If Settings isn't doing what you want, you could try this. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1305068#answer-1351231

I noticed a little blue circle with an "i" in it in the upper left corner of the Outlook screen. When I clicked the circle it disappeared, but a line of text had said something like, "Click to add Outlook to the options for "mailto" in Settings." After the circle disappeared, I went to Settings, default apps and found the last option was Outlook!
