Using the Ctrl + LeftButton shortcut allows you to select multiple tabs to perform an action on. For example, if you Ctrl + LeftButton multiple tabs, you can close them by using the Ctrl + W shortcut.

The Shift + LeftButton shortcut also allows you to select a range of tabs.
