I signed up for IMAP Synchronization so I can check emails on my phone as well as at the home computer. But then I want to save important emails on my hard drive. But this does does not seem to be working with Mozilla Thunderbird. I keep dragging messages form inbox to folders in my hard drive but not working.

Does it work if you select messages, then Ctrl+S to save them as eml files? Drag and drop from an IMAP folder to File Explorer works here in W10.
