Unable to drag a deleted email from Trash back to Inbox

When I mistakenly or otherwise delete and email and want to bring it back to my inbox, I can't seem to do so. I prefer to drag it from the trash folder to Inbox, but when I try, it stays in Trash and my view changes to Inbox, but the email is not there. I try right clicking the email in Trash and then choose Move and Inbox, but this only works occasionally, usually not at all.

FF is a browser not a email program. So what email program are we talking about here?
