This is happening within several websites. Firefox shows me a bar that wants me to click 'allow' for automatic forwarding. It is not a different website that I am attempting to go open.

Hmm, the address of the link may be redirecting within the same site, or through a tracking service. I suggest turning that feature off here:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences

In the left column, click Advanced. Then on the right side, with the "General" mini-tab active, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Thanks jscher2000. The link address appears to be the problem.
