I adjusted the message pane height, and now it wont move (and has text overlapping into the folder pane!)

I adjusted the message pane height, and now it wont move. The text in the folder pane is overlapping and it's making it really hard to view my messages properly. I tried uninstalling Thunderbird, and reinstalling, but the issue is still there. Help!
