Which site is giving you this error message?

Here is how you can clear your cache and cookies for that site:

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Glancing over your plugins list, it doesn't appear that you have the Flash player plugin (or it is disabled by being set to "Never Activate"). If that was note intentional, you can download the Flash plugin from this page:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

If you visit the page in Firefox, the page should give you the correct download automatically. If you can't visit in Firefox, use this page instead:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

The answer to your first question is it happens when i try to go to a website from mozilla as a search engine. Ill try some of these things when i go home today. Can you look at my plug ins? how cheeky, I think, but I dont know, is that normal :)

When you post a question here, there is "More System Information" link on the side that usually has a list of plugins (the ones set to Always Activate or Ask to Activate). This is generated by a feature of JavaScript that lets site ask what plugins you have. That might change in the future to only answer Yes/No to whether you have a plugin to play a particular kind of content -- since why should they know the whole list? -- but for support purposes, it's handy to see.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
