Can't subscribe to rss feeds, when I do, it opens all articles in many (MANY) tabs, but doesn't subscribe.

Old rss feeds are properly subscribed, but when I try to subscribe to a new feed, many tabs are opened, but no subscription is added.

This is true with 3.6.15, but has been true for a while, at least the last three updates.

For instance, this link opened over 60 tabs before I started closing them.
