Clicking/pressing "back" repeatedly doesn't work on certain sites; Firefox reloads page instead of using cache, and ignores back button until page has reloaded...

Some web sites makes Firefox ignore my cache settings, which is a bit annoying in itself, but what is more aggravating is that browsning the history by clicking "Back" or "Forward" (or using keyboard shortcuts) will not work until the previous/next page has reloaded. On sites with slow reload this becomes excruciatingly painful. The only way to skip back/forward two or more pages is by clicking the history dropdown and select the desired page there. I am a "keyboard driver", so being forced to mouse when I don't see the need to bugs me. Please, is there any way to make Firefox really use the cache and not be forced to reload certain pages every time it is visited? This would probably fix the back/forward issue as well. Also it would prevent Firefox from losing the focus (tabbing the focus to a link, presing Return, reading the new page, pressing Alt+Left to go back, page RELOADS :( and the keyboard focus is reset).
