Some times is the only solution to be reinforced to delete the complete installation to get back all the icone s on the desktop. If the trashcan still there try to delete them. Also the map if there s nothing important in these icone and map. If you think this is not nesssary or can not try it without. '''Go into account setting''' then in server setting set the option to place deleted messages in to the trash folder. Once that is set the folder will have the special attribute that causes Thunderbird to treat it as a trash folder and show the trash icon. Why not empty the trash with delete the installation and reinstall the Thunderbird Software? You can copie the indexes and lose nothing? Greetings Firefox volunteer.
