Hi, I'm having trouble typing Japanese in Firefox.

After switching input methods from English to Japanese and changing the IME options from the default Half-width Alphanumeric to Hiragana I can't type in Hiragana/Japanese. The only thing it seems to change is the space(The japanese input has wider spaces in between words). The same thing happens when I change it to Katakana.

This only happens in Firefox. I tried typing Japanese on other browsers and programs and it works fine. I am currently using Firefox 45.0

Any suggestions?
