I have older 2.8 GHz single thread/core CPU and when loading some webpage in Firefox (latest version, previous versions too) or Chrome, it is overloading CPU (i see the CPU graph) for like 1-3 seconds so im experiencing slowness. Assuming browser has no extensions installed. CPU ovelroad happens also when i load already visited webpage using Back/forward button.

The issue happens on almost any webpage except pure static text html page. Also on pages that fully instruct browser to cache its elements.

So i got an idea if there is any firefox setting or module which would allow me to do enhanced caching on my computer so the Firefox dont need to utilize the CPU so much generating the content. Please any help on such addon, settings?

- already have hardware acceleration enabled in FF and in Flash player - issue happens when no extensions installed and also in other browsers - i already tried no-script type extensions

Cant find extensions which allows enhanced caching relieving CPU usage on page load.
