Thunderbird (TB) version 78.2.1 Import Export Tool

Hello Forum,

First time on here, only reason I am posting this question is I downloaded Thunderbird for first time only so we could view our gmail mbox files through the google takeout process.

I have tried many time to load the ADD-on import/export tool .xpi file to Thunderbird, however it keeps coming up with either .xpi version is corrupted OR is not compatible with version 78.2.1 of (TB).

Please if someone could help or suggest how we can resolve this dilemma.

There is a beta version for TB 78:

Or, you can just copy the mbox file into Mail\Local Folders in the profile folder, with TB closed. remove the .mbox extension from the Takeout mbox file.
