How can I block ESR>55 permenently?
I made the mistake of having my Win 7_64 ESR installation set to "auto update" so today it installed the disaster that is version 60.
I know how to backlevel my install and my extensions but how can I PERMANENTLY block any further upgrades while I search for a replacement browser that doesn't look like it was designed for OS2/Warp on a 640x480x16 color VGA monitor and has extension/add-on interfaces that suck?

You can now customize it any way you want to from the 3 Bar Menu Customize.
Also 250million ways with userChrome (Note userChrome was in Firefox long before Google existed)

So should look into those things before dumping with out knowing.
If I want to create text files to control things I'll reboot over to Linux. Having to create a text file to control something in Windows is straight out of the age of DOS and Windows for Workgroups.
On top of that, whomever is the UI Dev needs to be reminded that change for the sake of change is never a good idea. Worst case I should have been given a pop-up that asked if I wanted to keep the old look/feel or migrate to the new disaster...
And because of the disastrous change to how plug-ins have to be written, all of my usual ones are back to BETA stage of functionality and usefulness when they auto-updated for ver 60...
So yes, I'm throwing it away and now looking for a replacement that takes plugins, doesn't change "because it's cool", and doesn't send every click back to some HQ...
